Gareth is a senior drug development professional with over 20 years experience in regulatory affairs, clinical research and product management. Gareth worked for 9 years internationally at Roche, rising to Project Leader, Global Regulatory Affairs before becoming part of the founding management teams of a novel drug development organisation, Protodigm Ltd, a Roche subsidiary, which subsequently metamorphosed into Fulcrum Pharma, a successful stand-alone development services company.

Gareth has a broad experience in various therapeutic areas and phases of development, with a particular emphasis on global regulatory strategy and delivery across Europe, the US, the Far East and Japan. He also has an interest in knowledge management systems and processes that maximise the efficiency of project teams whilst ensuring high quality interactions with Health Authorities and customers.

Most recently, Gareth was Regional Director, Medicines Development, Europe and America, at Choice Pharma. He was responsible for the Medicines Development business, overseeing the design and delivery of clinical, drug safety and regulatory services that most effectively met client needs and maximised product value.

Gareth has a BSc (Hons) in Physiology and PhD in Cardiovascular Studies from the University of Leeds.
